We’re ready for our Bulldogs!

There was a ton of excitement across Kearney School District on Thursday, Aug. 20, as every one of our campuses welcomed students and families for our 2026 Back-to-School Open Houses!

From our youngest Bulldogs at the Early Education Center to our Kearney High School students, it was wonderful to see hallways and classrooms filled again with students reconnecting with friends, meeting their teachers and getting ready for a new year of learning.

And now, the big day is almost here! Tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 25, is the first day of the 2026-2027 school year!

To all of our students, families, teachers, support staff and school leaders: welcome back. We are so excited to begin another year together. Great Schools = Great Community. Let’s make it a great one, Bulldogs!
