Kearney High School choir students participated in the District Choir Auditions on Saturday, Sept. 16 at Missouri Western State University. This audition consists of a short solo and a sight-reading portion. Of the 29 students who attended, 25 students successfully placed themselves into the All-District Choir. They will gather with the other students across the region for a performance on Oct. 28. The KHS juniors and seniors who earned spots on the All-District Choir have also qualified to audition for the All-State Choir. The choir is directed by KHS Vocal Music Teacher Dustin McKinney.
